Mansfield Bank Robber Shot and Killed by Police
MANSFIELD- Mansfield police shot and killed an alleged suspect in a bank robbery late Thursday afternoon. A second suspect was taken into custody. The incident began with the robbery of the North Easton Savings Bank on Copeland Drive. Police responded and pursued a fleeing vehicle onto School Street and stopped it near Spring Street. After several minutes of tense negotiations one of the occupants exited the vehicle and refused to obey police commands. He then made a threatening motions toward police officers with what was thought to be a handgun. Police then opened fire killing the subject. Video courtesy of The Sun Chronicle.
